Sukhee

Sukhee - what an amazing movie - loved every sequence, interaction, flicker of emotion! What woman, working or not, is unfamiliar of the transient phases of life that Sukhee has exhibited, teenage angst to a range of flavours in nuptial life - aching to tie the knot, excitement of welcoming a baby, drudgery stemming from being a constant carer, spicing up life at times with long-parted pals, discovering lost edges. While the sweet reunion, Sukhee's confidence as horse trainer, and her steadfastness in turning familial bonds around stole the show, what I found interesting is how a stellar array of actors have pulled off such an engaging one out of weals and woes of simple quotidian life bereft of nail-biting CGI aided skirmishes or superfluous flaunting of glamour.
